Duties & Taxes

We ship from both the EU (France) and Morocco for non-EU destinations. For orders shipped outside the EU, you may be required to pay customs fees and local VAT before receiving your package.

→ The threshold in, e.g., the USA, Australia, etc., is so high that ordering a few pairs will not need the Customs clearance, aka there is no Duty fees nor tax to be paid.

→ Please note that Dambira does not cover these costs, although your order may still qualify for free shipping!

EU Customers:

If you're located within the EU, there are no additional customs fees or import taxes to pay (VAT is included in the price).

Non-EU Customers:

For destinations like the USA, Australia, etc., the customs threshold is typically high enough that smaller orders may not require customs clearance, meaning there are no duty fees or taxes to be paid.

However, customs fees and taxes can vary depending on factors such as the value and type of goods, as well as your country’s specific import laws. To avoid any surprises, we recommend checking with your country's customs office or tax authority for more information on applicable fees and taxes.

How Customs Clearance Works:

Once your order arrives in your country, it will go through customs clearance, where officials will assess any duties or taxes that may apply. You will be contacted with details on how to settle any charges.

Please be aware that customs processing can take some time, which may result in a delay in receiving your order.

Important Notes:

  • We do not refund import duties or taxes in the event of a return.

  • If you refuse to clear the shipment, we will subtract the shipping fees for both the return to our warehouse and your country from your refund.

  • Free shipping covers only the cost of delivery; import fees (duties and taxes) are your responsibility.

If you choose not to clear the shipment, we will be notified and will attempt to contact you. If you continue to refuse, we will deduct the shipping fees for both directions from your refund, as we cannot absorb the cost of returns when the package is not cleared through customs.

Thank you for your understanding.
